breeding Hardness

I put my new breeding Hardness on Monday, 12-26-11. i got it for christmas. I will leave it on for 3 weeks and see what happeneds. if none of my ewe have a red spot after 3 weeks. i will know they are all Pregnant. i hope they are already pregnant but i will have to see after 3 weeks.

Did You Know?

Do You know that 70% of the Lambs Growth Happens in the Last 6 weeks of pregnancy? They will Start Getting really Big in the middle of Jan. I will start checking them to see if their milk udders are starting to get Milk unto them that Happens in the Last 6 weeks too.

Rams picture's

Here is a picture of my ram  (Herman) and megan's lambs dad Sammy 

Herman 3-6-11 will be the dad of 5- 10 lambs                   

 Megan lambs dad Sammy.   will be the dad of 1- 2  or 3 Lambs.

 Herman lambs will be per shropshire but Megan lambs will be shrops/ suffolks.

10 weeks into pregnancy for my ewes

    I put my ewes in with my Ram on Oct. 1st. I hope my 5 ewes are Pregnant. i know one is because she want to my friends house to get breed because my ram lamb is her son from this last year. she will have suffolk/ shropshire lambs. my other 5 will have  per breed shropshire's lambs.   i will start checking them in the middle of Jan. to see if there are pregnant. 70% of the growth of the lambs happen in the last 6 weeks of pregnancy. ewes are pregnant for (22 weeks) same as 152 days =  5 months.). i will try to keep this blog up if i remember.
